Tayla Siskopoulos is the creative mind behind Sinista Entertainment and doing things the easy way has never really interested her.
With a background in Stage Management at WAAPA and professional theatre experience behind the scenes, Tayla learnt how productions work from the wings. The timing. The details. The hundred things the audience never sees.
Sinista didn’t start on a stage.
It started with an idea nobody else could see.
Tayla has a habit of finding the people you didn't know you were looking for. She'll take a chance, trust her gut and change the whole plan when someone walks into the room with something she can't ignore. And she's exactly the same with her ideas. A fairly reasonable concept rarely stays reasonable for long, somehow, there's now a three-metre chandelier hanging over the stage.
She doesn't cast by résumé. Talent matters. Work ethic matters. But so does personality, instinct and that thing you can't quite explain, you just know when you see it.
Nothing stays small for very long around Tayla.
A song becomes a scene. A Scene becomes a show.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, someone usually asks:
“Tayla... how are we actually going to do this?”
